Russia will start importing cocoa beans directly from Nigeria 🍫
The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Nigeria Maxim Petrov said that the first container will be shipped in the near future. Nigeria is one of the four cocoa producing countries. The country produces about 300 thousand tons of cocoa annually.
But that's not all: Russia and Nigeria are jointly developing a project to build a flour mill in Nigeria. As noted by the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Nigeria, this project will allow domestic agricultural products to gain a foothold in the African market 🌾
