In the retail chain Magnit, sales of protein bars, cookies, and waffles grew more than 1.6 times in physical units compared to 2023, according to a company spokesperson. This upward trend has continued into this year, with a further 150% increase over the same period last year.
The Samokat delivery service also noted a surge in popularity for protein pastries and cookies in 2024, with sales up 42% and 29%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
As more shoppers are paying attention to the “healthy” shelf, several segments in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) market are experiencing rapid growth.
